Welcome to Lonoke Baptist Church
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Its is with great joy and expectation that we welcome you - as a new member into the Lonoke Baptist Church Family. Our purpose is to give glory, honr and praise to God in all we say and do. Whether in worship, business, or fellowship, we will honor God. Your presence testifies to your desire to do the same.
We are committed to lifting up the name of Jesus Christ in all that we do here at Lonoke. God has give us the privilege of taking His gospel into our lives. We gather here to thank Him for the victories of the past and beseech Him for even greater exploits by His Spirit.
Again, your presence demonstrates your dedication to this future. The richness of Lonoke Baptist Church is its people. The richness of the people is their faith in Jesus Christ. The Lonoke family knows that good neighbors don't just live in a community; they work to make it better. And that is what the Lonoke family is determined to do.
We welcome all people of every nationality to join us to worship, celebrate and serve God. The Lonoke family is a local church that is spirit filled. Every effort will be made to let you know that you are welcome and a very important member of the family. We invite you full participation in all phases of our worship, fellowship and educational sessions. When you have had the chance to prayerfully consider your special interest, we ask that you unite with one of our many auxiliaries.
Locally, we must be involved in the concerns of our communities. We must be abreast of the issues and be a voice and presence for Christ is all matters. At Lonoke we are not "Pew Warmers." We encourage everyone to "get off the sidelines and get into the game." The game of saving lost souls. There are many auxiliaries and organizations available for you to join and work out your soul salvation. There is much work to be done here at Lonoke Baptist Church and our local community.
Our Prayer is that the light of Jesus Christ will shine bright in your life as you celebrate Christ with us and that you will strengthen yourself in the Word trough Sunday School on Sunday and through Bible Study and other learning opportunities during the week.
We thank God for the mighty works that He has done at Lonoke over the years. I am excited! I am excited about Christ! I am excited about Lonoke! And I am excited about what can be if you will work with us! I hope you will get excited about these thingstoo!

Welcome to Lonoke Baptist Church
Pastor’s Responsibility to the New Member
It is my responsibility as pastor to make sure that you have the proper spiritual tools to begin your growth in Christ here at Lonoke Baptist Church.
Our way of enhancing your growth is by offering a New Member’s Orientation Program for our new members and new beginners in Christ.
This program details six different studies that will motivate your growth in the Lord.

Your decision to become a member of the Lonoke Baptist Church is an important one, and we rejoice with you in it. We rejoice that God is building His Church and we are delighted to have you as a co-labour together with us.
It is our desire here at Lonoke Baptist Church for all of our members to have a basic understanding of the fundamental truth which guide us. Our church is a group of people from all walks of life. We have an obligation to do more than just assure ourselves of the genuine conversation of our prospective members. We must also provide a level of training so that our incoming members know the direction of our church. Therefore, there is a need for an adequate New Member Orientation to keep all on common ground.
After completing these sessions of study, if you are a candidate for baptism, you will be baptized, and then receive “The Right Hand of Fellowship”, which will formally welcome you into our church family.
After receiving the “Right Hand of Fellowship”, then we welcome you to become involved in one or more of our ministries available here at Lonoke Baptist Church. Please know that there is an area that you can be of service to the Church and the Lord Jesus Christ in helping build His Kingdom.
